Hi lovelies

May I Scraplift You is a weekly video series (on Saturdays) started by Crystal Barrett/Pineapple Papers. For double cat content I scraplifted the lovely Moira's layout about HER cat Chopin. He's even grey like Fitzy!

Moira also takes part in May I Scraplift You.

Since this overlapped with the hop this year I decided to do a cat layout. I also decided to use my "Scrap Backwards" kit for October.

2021 Cat Hop Day 2

Hello Lovelies!

This one will be super short in an attempt to get in sync with Janis's timing. I wasn't planning to make anything today either after surveying my craftermath in dismay.

I mean it's always pretty bad, but today it's even worse after several days of frenetic colouring (and I still can't find my BV00 marker).

You may find I go back later and change the date/time the posts are published, but your comments are safe and I'll add a list of all my posts at the end so you can check you've seen them all.

That being said, I do want to get my make on. I will have a "May I Scraplift You" process video on Saturday (Cat themed of course) but 27 October is Black Cat Day (as distinct from Black Cat Appreciation Day in August).

Seems like a good time to make something inspired by our very own dearly departed house panther. My thumbnail in blogger was created for me and inspired by him. The one and only Fossett (known as Fossy).

I have some adulting to get out the way, but I also have some scrappy things to finish before the end of the month. 🤔 Tough choice!

It means I have to print photos and printing photos means I have help whether I want it or not. See what I mean?

2021 Cat Hop Day 1

Wow I can't believe it's Cat Hopping season already!

Day 1 is already reaching it's end from where Janis hails, so I'll keep this short(ish) and sweet in an attempt to get back on Janis's timing!

(inter)National Scrapbooking Day 2021

Hello Lovelies, and Happy iNSD!

I have a project (with process video) to share with you all on this very exciting day for papercrafty types!

There is a YouTube hop with lots of creative girls sharing layouts with the theme "For the Love of Scrapbooking". Scroll down for the link to my process video whre you can find the full like up to the Blog Hop in the description Box.

Also, Sara Scraps has rounded up a collaboration of three Facebook groups where making one challenge will put you in the running across all three groups for a ton of prizes (aptly named the One Challenge Wonder)!

I ended up combining the two since I was a bit uncertain how I'd fare time (and energy) wise.

One Challenge Wonder requires a little more explanation, so here are the deets...
Create a layout based on the sketch Sara has created using your stash, and incorporating sequins.

Bonus entry for prizes if you also incorporate a cut file.
To qualify:

You must be a member of Rediscover Your Stash

Spread The Sparkle and Cut To You HQ Facebook groups.

Post your layout in each group’s One Challenge Wonder Album.

All Entries due by May 7th.

Winners will be chosen and announced no later then May 8th.

Here is where the wonder comes in...that one layout gets you an entry for 10-15 different prizes.

Most of the sponsors have offered multiple prize packs and gift cards.

Sara has donated 4 $5 ACOT gift cards as prizes as well...so there are TONS of prizes to be given out for this ONE challenge/project.

In addition, there will be some relaxed fun and games in RYS where each of us will share our project and entertain you while you take a break from the frenetic pace of some of the other Facebook groups. All times are in EDT (think New York)

Process Video

This time as I explained in my video I left the journaling area blank to be added later after this layout goes up on socials. Was a tough call for me and not something I will be doing often, but sometimes it's necessary. It goes on the lined paper next to the photos.

Inspired by Online Classes - February Week 1

Hello Lovelies!

I finally got my act together (albeit late!) and have my first video for my collab with Moria and Carina.

The first Saturday of the month is a Redefined Kreative class. I've only taken Layout Palooza 3 so I'll be working through that til it's finished.

This is one of the extra layouts Khristina added for the benefit of those who hadn't got their kits yet.

I pretty much had my supplies picked and put aside and knew which story I wanted to tell. The fold out booklet for journaling is perfect for a longer story.

Sara Scraps' 5 Year YouTubaversary hop

Hello Lovelies!

I'm bringing you something suuuuper fun and special today! My main girl Sara is celebrating her 5th anniversary as a YouTuber and asked a bunch of us to make this an event to remember!
