Arty Divas Challenge 25

Hi Lovelies!

Today is Challenge 25 at Arty Divas.  This is a FORTNIGHTLY "anything goes" (any type of project and any theme) challenge with a design team who makes projects showcasing the sponsor who often offers PRIZES!

This week's sponsor is Lee Holland Art
Online Shop -  https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/leehollandart
Prize:
in a collaboration with Artsy Stamper

The image we were given to work with was this pre-coloured elephant one, and naturally my printer had to die right when I needed it most.  Uh oh!

We were also asked to use yellow in our project as a nod to Artsy Stamper and an optional project using "summer florals".
I did what I could by using yellow and summer florals since getting access to a printer during lockdown, without a car and being "high risk" makes it virtually impossible.
I pulled out a floral cut file from the last time I did some binge cutting on the Silhouette.  It was cut to fit on a largish card so I went with 5x7.  I backed the flowers with a single piece of yellow patterned paper each leaving the leaves open as I've seen it done but never tried.

It reminded me the dandelion paper in Shimelle's current Never Grow Up collection.  I used the paper pad which had silver accents.

Before adhering the floral cut file, I splattered some of he Dina Wakely glossy mist.  As I waited for it to dry I sprayed the cluster with some Shimmerz in Glorious Days. Not quite what I hoped, but not bad!

I added foam to the back of the cut file and stuck it to the paper which was stuck to a 5x7 card base and finished it off with some Spiegelmom Scraps sequins.  Sequins and foam were attached using Glue Dots which are my go to ways of dealing with these items.

Lastly a sentiment from Altenew stamped right on the card kept it subtle, but it seemed to work with the theme of the card.

Thanks for stopping by and please visit the Arty Divas blog and the sponsors for this challenge.

Wish You The Most Beautiful Day

Love and creative cardmaking!
